Hidden connection profiles
Clever jointing detail means you see only wood and none of the screws or fixings for a sleek, elegant structure.
Design and engineering
We have a full design and engineering service for our structures. However, we can work with your engineer if you already have a design or your project engineer is confident in specifying the timber structure and connection details.
Solar shading and low heat transmission (low G) glass
Good design considers overheating risks, especially where glass is incorporated into roof structures. Choose between low solar heat gain glass (also known as low G value glass) or external shading options to selectively block out light and reduce solar gain. We recommend heat soak testing all glass installed in roof structures to help protect against cracking.
Colours, finishes, woods
Pick from our standard range of colours and finishes for your glazed extension. Our state-of-the-art, four-stage treatment process guarantees that every timber surface is even, smooth, expressive, durable and easy to maintain. Bespoke RAL and NCS colours are available on request for both timber and aluminium. A colour-matching service is also available for painted and timber finishes. Some finishes may not be suitable for our roof systems; we can talk you through the options for your new roof.
