One day, all glazing will be this good

Ecovia’s story begins in the 2010s, where, despite the UK’s strong heritage in construction and engineering, there was a dearth of high-performing and ecologically accountable glazing.

“The market was unaware of possibilities being developed further afield – an opportunity I decided to act on. I wanted to create a wholesale change in the world of glazing and knew that meeting stringent emissions targets and reducing energy use in buildings meant refocusing on the technical characteristics of windows. But, as a designer and lover of architecture, I couldn’t compromise on the form of our products.”

Thus, Ecovia was borne from the tension between the desire to push the functional boundaries and deliver ever-better aesthetics.

“Seeing the new projects that are sent in and getting involved in the design process never ceases to excite me. And witnessing these new designs and products as they come to life is uniquely satisfying. Not only are we privileged to be part of some of the UK’s most striking architectural projects, but we’re establishing higher standards for the rest of the UK market to follow.”
